Anderson Valley

Anderson Valley is a unique, beautiful,
rural valley nestled in between Cloverdale on the 101 corridor to the East,
(roughly 2 hours drive North from San Francisco), and Highway 1 to the West,
skirting the ocean, in Mendocino County. Anderson Valley sits Southeast to Northwest
on Highway 128. The towns are tiny Yorkville to the East, the main town
of Boonville, little Philo and the small hamlet of Navarro to the West. We boast
excellent weather, (not too hot, not too cold), great views, and excellent wines.
Anderson Valley is a great place to garden, homestead, keep horses and other
animals, or have a small vineyard of your own. We even
have a small airport where you can fly your light aircraft in and out.
We have plenty of
Redwoods, along with Oak, Madrone, Firs and grass covered hills. The Navarro
River and its tributaries are Salmon and Steelhead waterways. The small
populations and terrain make flooding not a problem here. But one can
watch the lovely North Fork of the Navarro River from the Hendy Woods bridge
at the entrance to Hendy Woods State Park, where one can camp, fish, river kayak
and hike. Some of the properties we offer have their own fishing, hiking and
camping sites, in addition to the fact that we are the main gateway to the North
Coast. Nearby Ukiah is the County seat of Mendocino County, only 30 minutes
from Boonville.
September is County
Fair time in Boonville, known as the Apple Fair and Rodeo. If you haven't
been to Anderson Valley yet, you should come and see for yourself. Its the little
piece of paradise we call home.
